Integrated Systems Gas Processing
Brief Description
Given the acute energy crisis in Pakistan, Government decided to import Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) from Qatar and use it to cover part of the shortage. This required a fast-track solution in which LNG was brought via a vessel at Port, and would then be pushed into the already existing gas pipeline of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). The core challenge was to build a jetty and an LNG terminal within a very limited timeframe: a record 9 months. This is the first LNG project for Pakistan and made the headlines for its avant-garde solutions.
Design, supply and commissioning of:
- Process Control System (PCS), combined Safety Instrumented System (SIS)
- Fire & Gas System (FGS) for Makori gas processing facility (GPF).
The GPF plant was a $225 Million project for MOL having a capacity of Gas Processing 150 MMSCFD, LPG 427 MTPD, Oil 20000 BPD & Condensate 10000 BPD.
This project was Avanceon’s first ever project on HIMA Platform; as soon as project was awarded we immediately send engineers to HIMA FZE for comprehensive training on HiQuad Family.
The project safety system engineer spend more than 4 weeks with HIMA experts to design the system for this project.
Avanceon took this cost only to ensure quality of system being engineered but also to deliver a system which fully comply with international safety standards.The HIMA engineering was impressed with the quality of drawings built by Avanceon.
Now, Avanceon is a certified system integrator of HIMA. System.
