Next week Avanceon will be joining our long-term business partner Rockwell Automation as co-sponsors of the 10th Middle East Rail. 2016 is a critical year for the Middle East and infrastructure in particular; especially with Expo 2020 on the horizon and an ever-growing population across the region. Our joint expertise in the transport space stretches back several years with landmark projects such as Dubai Metro and Lusail City on our collective CV, both projects of great magnitude and importance for the ongoing success in the Middle East. We are in a busy space but see our technology and solutions as key to supporting ever-sophisticated forms of urban and extra-urban transportation from an increasingly discerning resident demographic. The nature of our solutions requires mission critical safety, uptime and reliability. The Avanceon team has always met these challenges professionally in the past but with the ever changing technology landscape, its incumbent on us to re-learn and evolve our solutions to cutting edge technology.
The broader transportation and infrastructure picture is becoming clearer, too. People of the UAE are now beginning to look at Al Maktoum Airport as a hub for connectivity to the wider world with roads widening to swallow anticipated traffic across Dubai South. Rail projects across the region, in Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are held up at the metaphorical traffic signals; when that green light comes we anticipate massive economic acceleration from increased activity. With this in mind, Avanceon is excited about what lies ahead in 2017 and 2018. Up-skilling our “smart” expertise, readying for the revolution that is carrying global infrastructure forward will be our strategy moving forward.
I look forward to seeing you next week with our team of industry and technology experts at stand J16.
