Brief Description
Pakistan Refinery Limited required a renowned Safety System for the Isomerization Unit (ESD, F&G) and Platforming Unit, the business needs for this Safety system are to help and improve PRL profitability.
To ensure availability of plant with safe operation, a triple module Controller-based HiMAX Safety system was designed.
While the integration with the DCS also has redundant Modbus TCP/IP communication link to ensure data and plant availability.
PTU SIS and ISOM SIS are at geographically dispersed locations and communicating with each other over redundant Fiber Optic medium.
