Brief Description
Bringing over 2 decades of expertise, Avanceon is not new to Oil & Gas, representing close to a third of the company’s revenues. Takreer is one of the leading refinery company in the gulf. Established in 1999, the public joint-stock company specializes in crude oil refining and condensation, petro-chemical products and granulated Sulphur production in compliance with domestic and international specification. Takreer awarded Avanceon’s PLC upgrade. The major challenge was the upgrade from PLC-5 to ControlLogix on a running plant
The PLC & SCADA for Takreer was successfully delivered as per applicable standards. Each PLC unit offered was based on redundant ControlLogix controllers which connected directly to the Simplex ControlLogix IO racks.

- 5000 I/O point system
- Serck Control SCX SCADA software at MCC & AMCC
- Pipeline Management Package
- Allen Bradley PLC’s and ifix HMI at Terminal and Pumping Sites
- CMI SCADA Pack RTU at BV & CP sites
